Facade/entrance in ibis budget Manchester Airport

The hotel is just outside T2, very easy to find. The check in took about 5 minutes, the man who checked us in was very kind and polite even though it was midnight, we (me and my teenage son) were kindly given a voucher for free breakfast the following morning which was appreciated. The room (twin) was a bit small but was spotless and had a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, the TV had chromecast and there was a kettle and tea/coffee provided in the room. The rooms are also soundproof and have blackout blinds.

Property building in ibis budget Manchester Airport

It was advtised as a budget hotel in Manchester Airport and that's what I got..can't complain about it. I do love the youth hostel style of these budget ibis. Which they had existed years ago. Lovely staff

Lounge or bar in ibis budget Manchester Airport

Fantastic location if you want to stay at the airport. Walkable from all terminals by covered overpass, also to train station. Modern, clean rooms, compact but with all you need. Kind friendly staff. Lots of games for young and old, even table tennis in the lobby. Have to mention the wonderful supplied shower gel, Italian made and with a beautiful aroma! 😀

The night porter joel was a delight! Very friendly. Nothing was too much problem. It was pretty busy when we arrived and he was only on himself. But he did a very good job of keeping everyone happy!

Food close-up in ibis budget Manchester Airport

Great location next to the airport. Easy to find and get to from the airport train station. Everything signposted to help with this, too. Had everything you needed for an overnight stay before travelling. Great value. Clean and welcoming. Food and drink facilities are available in the hotel. Nice touch having free tea and coffee available in the bar area, and you could take things up to your room. Nice to know you can also use restaurants and bars in other airport hotels, like the Holiday Inn opposite, if you want to venture out the evening before you travel. Friendly and helpful staff. Suitable for any traveller, whether that be a couple like us, or we also saw business people and families staying there. A 24-hour desk meant it was nice to see someone when checking out in the early hours, too (especially if any help was needed). Would definitely do a stay here for travel purposes again.

Location is really convenient, especially if flying from terminal 2. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms have everything you need (although they are quite small). The restaurant in the hotel serves food and drink until quite late and the pizzas were lovely!

Breakfast in ibis budget Manchester Airport

Location great for T2. The room was what you would call ‘basic but functional’. We were only there for 8 hours and departed at 3am so didn’t really mind it being compact as it was a convenience stay. Great they had a deal with the Holiday Inn opposite with a 15% discount off food and a quick snack breakfast facility for early leavers. The price was very good for the location. You get a 10 minute grace period to unload any luggage before you park elsewhere. Staff absolutely amazing, friendly and extremely helpful.

Restaurant/places to eat in ibis budget Manchester Airport

The hotel was exactly what I expected – no surprises. It’s a budget hotel: very clean and modern. The breakfast was simple but fresh, and the coffee was very good (available for a small extra charge). At £90 per night, the price felt a bit steep, especially as the rooms are quite basic and resemble small cells — but I understand the higher cost is due to the premium location right by the airport. It was a great place to rest after a long journey, just a 2-minute walk from Terminal 2. I’d definitely recommend it and will return if I have a late landing in the future.

Lounge or bar in ibis budget Manchester Airport

The location is brilliant. Even with all the refurbishments to terminal 2, it's still only a 10 - 15 minute walk to terminal 1. I left the hotel at 4:02 and was through customs by 4:26. There is a kettle in the room, the beds are comfy, and the bathroom is well stocked with products. The staff are lovely, friendly, and professional. I did hear my neighbours for the first time but only very faintly. It didn't disturb my sleep. All in all a great hotel for a night before the red eye flight.

The location from terminal 3 is around 10-15 minutes walk back towards the train station. From terminal 2. It is actually across the road. It is a fabulous location. The rooms are on the small side. Good enough for a sleep and a shower. If you are planning the odd night or two here, it's great value and perfect. If you want frills and a bigger room for longer, get your wallets out and go for something better. For me it was great! Staff were friendly. Check in seamless. The room was good. The bed was very comfy. Blackout blind was a welcome bonus after landing late in the evening.
